Jio is among India’s biggest telecom companies. It has plans that fit multiple user types, including prepaid and postpaid customers. Getting a Jio SIM and activating your number is a simple task, and allows you to get started using the Jio service. Jio is not only going to distribute physical SIM cards, but it will also provide the option of embedding a SIM card into smartphones which support the feature. It’s possible to install other features into a smartphone, provided space is available. A eSIM will give manufacturers the space they need to do this. Any work that requires the physical SIM to be removed is unnecessary, as changes can be made by operators remotely.

So far, Jio only has eSIM technology with Apple, Samsung, Google, and Motorola. To set up an eSIM, there are a few extra things to do as compared to activating a SIM card. To make it easy to activate your Jio eSIM, we created a simple guide for the four manufacturers. Each of them differs in steps, so here is a comprehensive guide to help you activate your Jio eSIM regardless of which manufacturer you go with. If you want a new SIM, the first step is to visit a Reliance Digital or Jio Retailer.
